My Testimony

I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since 11/1979. My passion has always been writing poetry. I believe this is the forum the Lord will have me to bring lost souls to the knowledge of His saving grace. In prayer a few years back, the Lord dropped in my spirit an idea to create a poetry business/mission. In fact I will share a little of my Mission Statement: Inspired by the Holy Spirit on Sept. 26, 2000 to share the gift of poetry; to love and obey my Lord, as He leads me, and to share the true Gift-n-Print (His Word). John 3:3--"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.'" Romans 10:9-10--"That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made into Salvation," for the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." Thank you Lord, for your word and the gift of Poetry, and this company Gift-n-Print to you Lord Jesus. And together we shall see Lost Souls saved.

In 1979 my two sons and I were living in Phila, across the street from a church. We would go to this church every Sunday. One day the pastor's wife of this church asked me if I would come over to her house that night. When I got there, there was four other women sitting in the living room. Elizabeth, the pastor's wife, asked me to sit down. She finally told all the women why she had called us there. Ladies, the Lord gave me a dream recently. He gave me the names of the five women He would have me to disciple. I was a little surprised of what she was saying. Elizabeth first asked me if I knew the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior. I had said no. At that time she proceeded to ask me if I would like to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and I said yes. That evening Elizabeth began to disciple the five women for the next 6 weeks. That is basically how I became a Christian. Thank God He did, because exactly one month after that my earthly father passed away because of a heart attack. Let me be very clear about this time in my life. I was a young widow, and my father just passed away, so I had no one but my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Glory to God.

In 1979, the year of my salvation, I had just lost earthly father, and I was a single mom. Also at this time I was struggling with a syndrome known as Tourettes. Plus my eldest son Dominic, at the age of 10 years old was diagnosed with patamal eptilepic seizures. Only the Lord would be able to help me through the next few years. My writing poetry was one way I knew how to release the emotions I had trapped within myself. Now my children are young adults. Dominic is now 30 years old, and William is 28 years old. I can totally devote my time and attention to serving my Lord. This is just a brief summary of my story.
