The Truth is something that everyone always wants, but no one ever hears completely clearly. This can be said of a teacher/student relationship, friend to friend, and most definitely God to man.
The BIBLE is God's Word. Everything in it is TRUTH. Through the Bible, prayer, and other experiences with God, we can learn what the Truth really is! God loves to tell His children what He has in mind for us. It is hard to listen to Him sometimes. The Truth isn't always easy to hear, but it is something that guides us and brings us closer to God. His Spirit helps us to hear and understand the things He wants us to know, the ways He wants us to live our lives. The Truth is the foundation of living as a Christian.
"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free. -- John 8:32
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true--even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. -- 1 John 5:20
They must hold fast to the deep truths of the faith. -- 1 Timothy 5:9
