My Testimony

I am 51 year old Christian Ojibway female. I enjoy one on one Bible Studies with the Holy Spirit. God has given me much knowledge in the past few years. We should all be ready and willing to share what Jesus Christ has done for us.

I grew up amongst 13 children of a single mother. Single parenthood was not my mother’s choice, my father left her when we were relocated to Denver, CO as part of a government program to "help native Americans". My father transported his unwanted wife and eight of their children back to the reservation in northern WI.

There is much more to life on the reservation than meets the average eye. The Ojibway sense the dual aspects of two worlds....the physical realm of everyday life....and the spirit life that goes on around them. Many see into the demonic realm and mistake these creatures for departed loved ones. They call on them for advice and entertain and mingle with them in native dance and rituals. As a result the reservation is an ominous entity in itself rather than a nice location next to the river. Death presides over the many facets of Ojibway life.

I spent 35 years of my life in spiritual bondage to the grips of fear and superstition!

The greatest gift my father bestowed on his family before he left was "allowing" missionaries from a nearby town to come into our little log home and preach the gospel. The seed was planted in the hearts of several of his children, myself included. In fact, my parents had named me after their favorite missionary, a Swedish woman named Myrtle.

As I look back now, I can see how God’s protective hand had "kept" me from the snares that many of the reservation youth had fallen prey to. While I did struggle with alcohol, with God’s grace, I managed to stumble but not fall. And at 35 years of age he called on me to make a clean break. The scales of fear, doubt, alcohol and nicotine fell off me in one clean sweep leaving me totally liberated.

I now enjoy freedom in Jesus Christ and will share my testimony with anyone who will listen. I would like to reach out to anyone who lives in fear of the occult as I did. You are welcome to email me with questions, etc.

Going to Heaven

Do you know for certain that if you died tonight that you would go to heaven?  This is the most important question of your life.  If you are not absolutely certain, please contact me or visit this link.
