NewJoy Gospel Ministries is a teaching and singing ministry. Tammy has been led by the Lord Jesus Christ to go out and minister through teaching and singing to those who are less fortunate. She goes to the shut-ins, nursing homes, elderly centers and she has a television program "NewJoy Gospel Hour" which is aired on channel 97 in Chattooga County in Northern Georgia. She has been singing since 1997 and with the help of her manager, friend and mother Aline Wooten, and of course with the help of the Lord, founded this ministry that has gone out to thousands in and around Georgia. Tammy has never charged for any type of her ministry service. She relies on the Lord Jesus Christ to supply her needs. Also the ministry donates and gives to those less fortunate. At Christmas especially, we prepare a nice meal and goodie bags for those who are not able to get out. Monthly, Tammy does a Bible teaching at the Highrise Elderly/Disabled Center in Summerville, Ga. We not only minister to them through the word but food is taken each month to those who have little. With the help of Tammy's family and the Lord Jesus, many have been ministered to and have come to know the "NewJoy" that the Lord brings.
