Victory Ministries is dedicated to the preaching of the gospel. As the leader of this outreach ministry I believe if we tell people of the power, grace and mercy of the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They can live a life of victory. Not to be confused with a life of ease, pleasure and riches. Rather a life that overcomes sin and death. A life of peace in times of suffering. We desire to minister the gospel with a sense of balance. In other words we believe God wants us to prosper and be healthy. He also wants us to mature and grow. He wants us to serve whether we are rich are poor. Well in our bodies or sick. We want to teach people how to have victory when what they believe is put the test. When they pass the test of faith in God we call that victorious living.
My story is not earth shattering. It is simple in fact. An older women who upstairs from me in a two family flat use to nag me all the time about going to church with her. To make her leave me alone I went. To make a long story short I kept going until one night I heard the preacher ask me a question "are you ready to meet God " As he preached the saving grace of God moved in my life. God made me realize I needed help. Because of a persistent old woman who loved Jesus, reaching out to me over and over again. I can now answer that preacher's question with a great big "YES".
